During this S.T.E.M workshop at Mastery Charter School (Shoemaker), we had our students build reinforcements to conduct an egg drop. They were given $50 (fake money) to purchase supplies from us that they thought would secure their egg during he drop. Students worked in teams to design and construct an egg protective device. Students will be able to explore the different materials available and learn to apply concepts of momentum, impulse, force and energy to this project.
